Fun Friday Bridget Jones Mad About The Boy
When I first read the book, it didn’t make sense to me. From the end of Edge Of Reason to Bridget (Renee Zellwegger) being widowed with 2 children. I did question why it had been written because it was a sad and tragic scenario.
However, after I saw Bridget Jones Baby and I knew what happened at the end, Mad About The Boy now makes sense.
Bridget’s story needed the baby film to fill the enormous gap between Edge Of Reason and Mad About The Boy.
I like how this film shows Bridget navigate widowhood and in a respectful way getting back into dating again.
I love how despite Bridget being Bridget she shows a certain level of maturity, showing a high level of character development in this film.
I love that in some parts of this film it is quiet and sad and in other parts it is funny. Showing that life goes on after a tragedy.
I can see why this is the last Bridget Jones movie as she has found her forever and it is beautiful to see.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
