Fun Friday Fly The Flag Lovejoy

It may be me, but I think I would be a bit more worried if something moved as I would first think I broke it. It is amusing to see his request backfire. To cheat or not to cheat? Poor Tinker (Dudley Sutton). Enter Lovejoy (Ian McShane), yes, Tinker you are. This is brilliant to see. Oh dear, something else that backfired. He really should be careful what he says. All those toys, a big kid and a sad story. I like this episode. If that is the base I think it could be then it is a good resourceful use of what is available in East Anglia, where Lovejoy is mostly set. I think the so called advice is seriously lacking. Well told. I don’t see what all the fuss is about with him. A very patriotic episode. Very fitting song(s). Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Colour Of Mary Lovejoy

Well all Lovejoy (Ian McShane) has to do is ‘Find the table’ and if anyone can Lovejoy can. Oh him as manager, I can see he still isn’t popular from before. He hasn’t changed. Did or didn’t he break the fourth wall? This is weirdly strangely amusing to see or something like that. I can see the tours work and they look popular, but a show is still a show, whether he wants to do it or not. It is all such a twisted mess. Eric (Chris Jury) ‘Safe’ such an amusing underhand comment. Poor Eric. Clever Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan) thinks outside the box. A brilliant narration from Lady Jane. I  hate him. I agree with Lovejoy 'Have him’. Eric is so infuriating. A good plan. Dennis Tayler (Himself) he is a good sport and a great actor. What is Eric doing? Well there’s a turn up. Oh and oh Eric. and Lovejoy you sneaky clever you. I love it. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday Second Fiddle Lovejoy

Warning spoilers What sensational outfits. Oh Eric (Chris Jury) no one will laugh at you, liars. I have mixed feelings on the music, especially Eric’s. What a strange request. Now ‘Why?’. The crowd scenes were filmed really well. I can see how they possibly did them. I looked and they are seamless between scenes. Very good. Oh, this is so funny, he isn’t married. Oh that one. Yes, Eric knows the one/drink ‘Save it’ still why the request? ‘I follow’. What is Eric up to? Seems he is ‘Cheeky’ whatever it is. Please listen to Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan) and look at what she found out, this is so annoying to see. Oh, that is why. This would’ve made more sense if he was an actual son and not stepson. Thank goodness. So funny, the same scheme. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Ring Lovejoy

A sad start to this episode. I can see why they worry, but he isn’t exactly a child. Ok, he is fine. Well staged. Oh dear and oh dear, drunk. This is amusing watching the rambling. Money talks yet again. Doesn’t say much though sadly, in this case. Well acted Lovejoy (Ian McShane)  Well Eric (Chris Jury) was right, he isn’t a ‘Debt collector’. Whatever just happened, it is, I feel, inappropriate all round. This is like the film The Blues Brothers, where Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) and Jake (John Belushi) wanted to put the ‘Band back together’. I feel sorry for him but ‘Karma’ i’d say. This is amusing as Lovejoy did say ‘Workout amongst yourselves when you drop out’ he wasn’t expecting one to drop out before the auction had even started. Not Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan), Tinker (Dudley Sutton) is quite correct, not happy. And now Jane, wow, I have never heard her so angry, well aimed. After that profit, can’t blame him to want to try again. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday The Napoleonic Commode Lovejoy

That is a lot of money, odd names and that is a terrible predicament to be in. Yes, I would definitely agree it is ‘Irony’. A man of many talents, it is nice and light hearted to hear after all the loss. I hope he is joking although it doesn’t matter now sadly. Eww, Eric (Chris Jury) a ‘Tow rope’ it is so funny. Oh Tinker (Dudley Sutton) although it was inevitable, I don’t think a field counts. I bet he wished he hadn’t come back. However, I don’t like his attitude. Where have we heard that before? It is like watching an end of a series or even the end of the whole lot, and we all know it isn’t at this time/moment. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Highland Fling part 2 Lovejoy

Phew.  The one thing I hate more than hypochondriacs is sadly, the people who believe that they are actually ill. Yes, ‘What is wrong with Eric?’ (Chris Jury) apart from the obvious. Oh, Eric. Oh dear, poor Tinker (Dudley Sutton) ‘No duty free’ so funny What now? Well up to ‘The North’ Who is she?  Yes, ‘Look’ and I agree. Found you, well found them. And what a ‘Secret’. Lovejoy (Ian McShane), wrong, right and whatever. I can’t keep up. Just because other people are not right for each other doesn’t mean they are for each other. Sad but true. Saved by Eric/themselves. What now? Another save by Tinker. What a lovely and fitting ending.  I wander too. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Highland Fling part 1 Lovejoy

A neat bit of parking. Oh dear, he will have to wait. It’s all ‘Change’. A bit random, but I feel there is more to come. He does remember well amusingly, partly. It is sad to see that money talks once again, but it would be a very short episode if it didn’t. Lovejoy (Ian McShane) and Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan) would it work? I don’t think it is funny either. Oh no, showing them where it is. Yes, I agree, he could ‘Regret’ that. ‘Stay away from my booze’. It is so funny telling Tinker (Dudley Sutton) that. Lovejoy ‘Behave’ I believe he will be the model gentleman as usual. Oh that’s ‘Hector’ hello Hector. This is amusing to see or rather hear. I hate hypochondriacs. Love the creaky door. Hate his jokes. He is so annoying. Oh Eric (Chris Jury) I wish you’d do as Lovejoy asked you to. Malcolm? So funny, although sadly, he didn’t think so. Yes, ‘Look out!!!’.

Wildcard Wednesday Members Only Lovejoy

Ok, it is not ‘Stuff’. Well timed and coordinated, I see. ‘A favour’. Eric, (Chris Jury) sadly, has a big mouth. Bang! Oh such power went right through. This could be a controversial episode. Why was he ‘Black balled?’. Found it. I ‘Figured’ it out. That is what happens when people know what they have. Another one. Not your usual parking penalty. Amusing to hear though. Oh, Lady Jane Felsham (Phyllis Logan) is so charming and cheeky. I love it. Good old Lovejoy (Ian McShane) not letting snobbery, rules and the wrong thing get in the way of what is right. Well, that isn’t nice. What is he up to? Gone, that is another word for it. Well Jane it is Lovejoy. It is sad, I do feel for Jane. A word of advice, don’t upset him. I am glad he is on Lovejoy’s side. Oh yes, we have. It is like a Panto. ‘She’s behind you’. Justice. I would say. All good then. Thank you for reading Sandra
