Wildcard Wednesday Who Dares Wins Lovejoy

 Wow the influence Lovejoy (Ian McShane) has on people. What he did with his ‘Pension’ and the new ‘Business’. It is a risk to do that. And to get on the wrong side of Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan) is not a good start either.


A clean up and a lick of paint. It will be as good as new.


Well that was a twist.


I am so glad Eric (Chris Jury) is driving. If the breathalyser.


Oh no, and in answer to the question. ‘It’s the car’.


So that old cliche get my ‘Silver’ get me as well.


Now that was sneaky.


The characters' days are not going well in this episode. I  haven’t seen so much bad luck in one episode.


I had a feeling that in that pile there was money to be made.


It is good to see a bit of luck in the end and it all works out.


Also he already ‘Knew’ apparently, oh well.

Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
