Wildcard Wednesday From Here to Infinity 5 Marvel advent calendar 2022

This story brings a whole new meaning to mind games, poor Hulk. I am glad and it is amusing to read how Hulk stopped the escape, A ‘Combination’ sounds good. Although the story changes quickly from one to another, it is nice to see everyone and the stones safe once more in the end. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday The Widow's Sting 4 Marvel advent calendar 2022

I also like a slow day .. I like that Spiderman is classed as a guest. I don’t like the intruder though. I love that the nature of a chameleon and the description of ‘Master of disguise’ all comes together. ‘Games and snacks’ no wonder it is a desirable place to try and get into, even for the villains as well, it seems. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Ultron Goes Viral 3 Marvel advent calendar 2022

It is sad to know how much the world relies on technology and what a problem it is when it goes down. I love the title of this book, it is so brilliantly catchy and fitting. Also I love where Captain Marvel lives. I love the well written and described condensed fight scene. It was all there but so quickly over. You can’t replace Captain America, even if she is good at what she does. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday The Legend of Black Panther 2 The Marvel advent calendar 2022

Although this story starts saying a lot, I feel it is a bit too rushed and there could be a bit more written. It is sad about his issues with his father. Although part of the team, I am glad he never forgot his roots or his father. I think it made him a better person, king and Black Panther. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Wonders of Black Widow 1 Marvel advent calendar 2022

I like how they condense her past into 2 pages, saying so much in so little space. There is not much else you can say about her training, it is all there. It is sad though that it says that it is ‘All she was allowed to know’. I am glad that with what she found out ‘She didn’t like it’. It is nice when someone listens. I am glad it all worked out for the good, Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Sugar & Spice Lovejoy

Quite a description, pity we cannot see the actual pictures. A busy school parents day. We have seen her before. She does go on a bit. And if he is not there, it could be a blessing in disguise. This is amusing to think about. Eric (Chris Jury), so funny, ‘Sold’. A lesson, never wave or poit at an auction. It could be very expensive or awkwardly funny/amusing. What is going on? Who was that? Was that an entirely necessary scene? No I don’t think so. So many questions? ‘Expelled’. A bit extreme. So much going on. It is good that it all worked out ok in the end. Well partly and rather opposite present cheekily. Oh.  Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday National Wealth Lovejoy

It is a horrible tragic start to this episode. At least we had it explained to us and we were warned to be ready. Oh and I don’t believe that is what Lovejoy (Ian McShane) had asked for. Ok, so she is someone, I do believe, Tinker (Dudley Sutton) likes, like. That is an understatement. Professional? Amusing though. It is lovely to see Lovejoy know his stuff. I wondered what the link was to the beginning. This is again horrible to watch. Wow, I mean Wow. everything.  It is so devastating. I hate it. Well you should always tell the police the ‘Truth’. It is all coming out now. Oh dear, splash. A simple but genius idea, I love it. I knew Tinker’s drinking would come in handy at some point. Phew at last. Go on Tinker give it your best shot. Oh yes. Someone is/they are happy. No, no not that. I hate it. For now. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday One Born Every Minute Lovejoy

Lovejoy (Ian McShane) has a visitor.  He is Lovejoy but he does owe a lot of money. Well, he certainly has the talent for saying the right thing and charming the home owners. I just think if you have seen one white cottage , you have seen them all, but it does help put the story together. It is amusing to see that he is really enjoying his investment. It is mad that just one bloke can go through  villages like a whirlwind, leaving marital destruction behind him. Well apart from the one. I like a good trade, but with 2. 1 Good and 1 not so good, sadly, who knew? All that about women. A good ruse.  He is going to be up to something. I was going to ask, what does Tinker (Dudley Sutton) actually do? Answer, he watches very useful films. This is brilliant. Well that was unexpected and some. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Who Dares Wins Lovejoy

Wow the influence Lovejoy (Ian McShane) has on people. What he did with his ‘Pension’ and the new ‘Business’. It is a risk to do that. And to get on the wrong side of Lady Jane (Phyllis Logan) is not a good start either. A clean up and a lick of paint. It will be as good as new. Well that was a twist. I am so glad Eric (Chris Jury) is driving. If the breathalyser. Oh no, and in answer to the question. ‘It’s the car’. So that old cliche get my ‘Silver’ get me as well. Now that was sneaky. The characters' days are not going well in this episode. I  haven’t seen so much bad luck in one episode. I had a feeling that in that pile there was money to be made. It is good to see a bit of luck in the end and it all works out. Also he already ‘Knew’ apparently, oh well. Thank you for reading  Sandra
