Wildcard Wednesday Mary P BGT 2022

 So we all know the film Mary Poppins with Julie Andrews. This audition starts off all innocent and in the perfect Mary Poppins nature. The outfit is amazing as well.


I love that they play along all the way on to the stage. This gives off the feeling of being cute also.


The warm up part is so good and such a clever intro into the act. The tone is perfect. Oh, so now what do you do if it is the ‘Wrong song’?. Oh, I see that. Her talent is off the charts brilliant. I love that she never lost the Mary Poppins character and stayed perfectly in character.


Amazingly yes, ‘Evolved’.


Semi final


Yes, Mary P let your ‘Hair down’. Love it already and the pink and blue outfit is so bright and vibrant. The singing is beyond incredible. I also absolutely love the background cars rocking along. The whole act is perfectly amazing and all newly fresh as well and yes, ‘In the most delightful way’. Even Simon Cowell liked it..

  I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. I suppose, I would say, it depends on what you paid for a painting a nice ‘Fake’ at a fake price is fine, but if you pay a genuine price tag, then you could be out of pocket/at a loss. Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
