Fun Friday Robot Dog in Competition Zac Alsop

 This YouTube video shows why we may have so much or too much need of ‘Red tape’. In this case the organisers may say that even more is needed, as a loophole has still been evidently exploited.


I love this, 1. Genius idea and 2. The way it was done. I also love that Zac put so much effort into this video and it is amusing to see her finally realise it was all for a real competition.


This, although, in this case is a ‘Freestyle’ dance and in the film Babe with James Cromwell based on the book The Sheep Pig by Dick King-Smith, is set around a Sheepdog trial, seem to me, very similar in the way this video was done.


Rules were broken though and I don’t condone this in the control of the Robot, but, I do not believe that makes any difference to the  nature of what they are trying to achieve or the ultimate outcome of this video because of the odd situation in the first place.


Oh, and another similarity, I love that he entered ‘Rupert’ into the competition just like when in the film he entered ‘Pig’ where everyone thought the dog was called ‘Pig’ into the sheepdog trial competition. I love how clever these 2 examples/scenarios are.

  I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
