Wildcard Wednesday Fly Me To Paris by Helga Jensen
A slow and easy start to this book. I like that the story isn’t rushed and is slowly being formed. The paragraph on the back of this book doesn’t come close to mentioning the shocking circumstances that are revealed. I hate him. So here is to a new start. I love it.
What a lovely boss, but there is the reality. I don’t want to put this book down, but it would be a very short book with no point to it if things didn’t work out for her how she would like it to.
As I haven’t been through aeroplane ‘Cabin crew’ training, I don’t know if or how realistic this book is but I do know that I can see a lot of honesty in it and I love that Sully, Miracle on the Hudson film with Tom Hanks was mentioned as it is, I feel, relevant to this story.
I love the team effort, it is so nice and off the scale. Very supportive. Although I have always had respect for ‘Cabin crew’ on the flights I have taken. I now have a new found next level respect and understanding for all the work they do on board. This book is so well written, clearly explaining the job description of ‘Cabin crew’.
This book has become very fast paced. And yes, who ordered ‘Snails’? Oh dear. Wow, this really does get into the conflict of the mind when there are certain issues in a new relationship. And sadly, it seems everything is changing around Penny.
Chapter 29 reminds me of the film Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts, although the ‘Opera’ had the opposite effect on the character Vivian in the film.
Well that was quite a turnaround and it is all mapped out and I see no reason why it wouldn’t all work out as written. I did think, at first, there was room for another book but as I write this review, I see that it has already been written. What a lovely new adventure with a happy ending. I didn’t want this book to end.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
