Wildcard Wednesday The Dots Britain's Got Talent 2022

 This act is a brilliant act, even fooling Simon Cowell. The narrative behind the act, the timing and the singing is all perfect. It was hilarious because it looked so unexpected. Yes, it deserved the 4 yeses to get through to the next round. However, they did take it a bit far with her being dragged off the stage. It felt that part was a bit over done.


So, The Dots are through to the next round, what next? Well the second act, the narrative again, starts off ok but, as the surprise and unexpected parts of the act are not there. This act doesn’t work. Sadly, so I would have to say that The Dots are a one act group. 


So this brings me to yes, they have the talent for a talent show but not enough content in the nature of their act once you take out the major surprise element of it. That is 95% of the act gone/missing.

Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
