Wildcard Wednesday Guessable?
I find this game show to be a brilliant concept. The teams have to play guessing games to lead them to clues as to who’s picture, a celebrity, is in the ‘Mystery box’. The team that wins the most points goes first at guessing, but it is the team that guesses correctly, out of the 2 teams, that wins the entire episode.
Some of the games are good clear ways to find the clues to go up onto the mystery board, this is made up of ‘Places’ People’ and ‘Items’ the celebrities have been/worked in, worked with or things they have done or are associated with, but some are silly like ‘Listy Cuffs’ where members of the teams have to list items, ways or things under a category. Some of the categories are silly and just made to, what I can only describe as, ‘Shoe horning’ in a clue relating to the picture of the person in the box.
Another silly way of finding clues is ‘Spells like team spirit’, where a clue is given for a tricky word and a spotlight is focused on a member of the team and they have to spell out between the team the word. Also in another game 3 seconds is not long to make a drawing clue.
Overall, I like this game show because we at home can play along? I like the rounds ‘Say it Properly’ where there are items on a board that when said in order spells/makes up a clue for the board, and what you ‘Porking about’ where each member of the team has a box and they have to convince the other team that they actually have the item they say they have in their box.
The good rounds outweigh the not so good rounds so this is a good light hearted gameshow to play along to.
Thank you for reading
