Wildcard Wednesday Dirty Dancing 2 Havana Nights
The sequel to Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze. It is nice to see father and daughter dance together unlike the first one. I don’t want to compare films but in this case it was nice to see.
The music and setting is fantastic and lovely, sadly, this, I see, also had to show the other side of Cuba.
This film really works as a sequel to the first one, I love it. Although I do feel sorry for the ‘Boyfriend’ unlike in the first with the ‘Manager’ Neil (Lonny Price). Well I did feel sorry for him.
Of course he does, it would be a very short film and a film with no point to it if he didn’t. I love the unique approach.
I like how this film shows that it is not enough just to dance or know how to dance. They have talent, it just has to be focused in the right way.
Love it. Sadly, a price to pay.
So thoughtful.
No, no no. Now what? Now what?
I would have liked this film to have had a more exacting ending but a film that leaves you wanting more is a good film.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
