Mum's Monday Beyond Paradise
I have seen episodes of ‘Death in Paradise’ of which this is a spin off from. I personally love and am curious to find out/know what happens to people/characters that move on. So this appealed to me, I also 1. I remember Kris Marshall playing Nick in the sitcom My Family with Robert Lindsay. Also 2. This was announced/trailered as a ‘Ghost story’, which also personally appeals to me, so I thought I would watch.
The first episode,
I have to say that was an exciting, clever police chase.
What a ‘Snug’ entrance. This is amusing to see.
The scenery this programme is set in is lovely and picturesque.
Um, I have mixed feelings as to whether or not he will fit in.
So, everyone has their technique. I love his. It is a brilliantly human approach. Sometimes the ‘Reckless’ approach used correctly or course, is good. I love the script. I don't condone breaking the rules, so will say the script has a few ‘Artistic licence included.
This reminds me of Scooby Doo (William Hanna and Joseph Barbera). Yes, I love Scooby Doo so this is, to me, fantastic. He is good, very good. I am glad he is the ‘Boss’.
I think I have solved the case.
This also reminds me of Pie in the Sky with Richard Griffiths, where a wife runs a cafe and husband in the police force.
Beware a ‘Ghostly shock and being made to jump. Yes, ‘Clever’ policing, well done.
‘Grand gesture’ oops oh dear, this is so wrongly amusing to see.
Sadly, the ending could have been better.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
