Mum's Monday The Girl Before

 First Episode


So the house, so many rules. It is a strange house, it is something that reminds me like something out of ‘Doctor Who’ Created by Sydney Newman cross meets between ‘Grand Designs with Kevin McCloud. It is weird, not your normal house viewing and vetting tenants. I am glad that the reasoning behind 1. Wanting to move in and 2. Why the house and the rules have come out. With such an intriguing idea this shows/highlights how a trauma(s) can affect people. Oh, I thought it was the other way around. Wow, what a revelation. I know what the trailer implied, but I forgot about that whilst watching, so to be reminded was a surprise, to me. Now the relationship idea sounds interesting.


Second Episode


It is a good point about a ‘Stair rail’. The parallels are so smooth it could be hard to keep up with who is who. This is not a bad thing, just very cleverly done. The likeness is uncanny. But we all know grief can bring out all sorts of issues in a person. The house reminds me of a Doctor Who book ‘Sick Building’ by Paul Magrs. I do hate that even taking a shower is not as easy as it should be. In any thriller I have seen there always seems to be a reliable friend who helps to work things out, this is no exception. 


Third Episode


I don’t understand, why can’t she see, giving the resemblances and previous events, oh, and all the other reasons. If ever the phrase ‘History is repeating itself’ was relevant, this is a very good example. I get the impression that he seems to be in the mindset of someone acting like a sort of ‘God’ figure, trying to protect the world one town at a time. What? Who? So what on earth now? I like that a true statement in both girls' cases. This shows that when technology works it works well. When technology goes wrong or glitches it is a problem. Love the wall.


Forth Episode


3 years, surely in that time the house would have been cleaned and the item found before. I think I know who committed the video crime ‘Sound extreme’? Look at the evidence. This now shows technology could be dangerous. Finally some of the truth is out in the open, I am so glad. This series reminds me of the Titanic White Star Line. all the hope and expectation and no avoiding the inevitable sad and tragic outcome. I do believe him. Oh wow, I think I know what and who and just wow, if I am right, that is. I am wow! Yes, the ‘Truth’ and what else can I say apart from Brilliant!

  I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. I suppose, I would say, it depends on what you paid for a painting a nice ‘Fake’ at a fake price is fine, but if you pay a genuine price tag, then you could be out of pocket/at a loss. Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
