Wildcard Wednesday United 93

 This film has a disturbing beginning from the hijacker’s point of view. This film is very much like a docu-drama showing/closely following the timeline of the events and of the United 93 plane on 9/11.


You can see in this film that all they can do is piece together what happened. It was a relief when they eventually put on the news in ‘Air traffic control’


When it was, sadly, asked ‘Where is American 11?’ you have to answer ‘Inside that building.


If you are not careful you can easily get confused watching this film as there are so many air traffic control centres and they keep swapping between them


 This film is obviously tense and gruesome when the hijacker’s strike. Even though you know what is going to happen overall. I was still on the edge of my seat.


This film shows the power of manpower. In this case the outcome meant lives were lost but as they believe so many more were saved.

  I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
