 Tales From The Lockdown

Leave It On The Doorstep

I love this story. The phone conversions are perfectly well written.

I am sure that there will be many stories etc written about the Covid Pandemic. There has actually already been a book written called ‘Lockdown' by Peter May, and wasn’t published because it was deemed too far fetched and would never happen. It was, however, published when the pandemic hit. I've read it, it basically is a good book and shows that the pandemic could have been a lot worse.

Leave it on the Doorstep can be classed as one of the pandemic stories. I love the far fetched twist in plain sight in this one. Also it is right we don’t/didn’t know what our neighbours are like until a situation arises where we are at home for the majority of the time and they may need help.

This is a fun and amusing lighthearted story about the pandemic. It doesn’t take away from the seriousness of it. It just offers a bit of light relief humour during a dark time.

This story is set in Bury St Edmunds the town has a good selection of shops however, you don’t get long on the carparks. If you get there too early in the morning you have just enough time to shop and not have lunch.

Thank you for reading

Sandra
