Mum's Monday The Devil Wears Prada
I like all the contrasting starts to this film, how they all get ready and the way they travel/ arrive at work. And now it is all systems go. She has arrived earlier than expected, it seems. Doesn’t she ever stop talking, but yes, I like when she says ‘Send her in’. It didn’t last long. I don’t like how it went on until, that is, the good outcome.
Ok, yes, I know she works for a ‘Fashion Magazine’ but I don’t like the criticism of her clothes. But I suppose this is one of the points of the film.
I have to admit I like the speech, she knows her ‘Stuff’, correction, the fashion industry.
That is a lot of coats! And bags.
Um, the weather, this is ridiculous, say something back. I feel a change coming on, well i hope.
I think I can see what he meant when he said ‘You can’t do that job’. As it has already changed her. I do question where this film is now going, in what direction this will now take/go in?
That is not good, and that is not good, not to mention the waste. I want to say ‘Well done’ but the smugness says it all. I agree, the Boss, well not a ‘Wacko’ but strange, spoiled and unreasonable to say the least.
I don’t like that haer job is affecting so much of her social life/free time. I know this is not uncommon but this is a little more extreme.
Well this film is certainly in depth, showing all angles, including illness.
I have mixed feelings about going back. I will judge good or bad when I see the outcome of her decision. Ok, she did the right thing in the end.
Paris, now what? Whoa that was unexpected. I am glad she is sort of ok. So that is what a sort of meltdown looks like. She is human, almost.
It is sad to think that she may be right to say that if she was a ‘Man’
Ok, Paris, that is underhand. You go girl, you tell her, oh, now what?
What she says may be true, but the reality and consequences are a very different story.
I love the ‘Disappointing’ ending to this film. It is actually heartwarming to see.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
