Mum's Monday Murder by Text Garage Sale Mystery
I was intrigued by this film as in this modern age when it seems almost everything has a digital/technology aspect to it, I was still surprised to see that one of the things that I thought couldn’t be caught up in this digital age was ‘Murder’. So I am watching this film to see how/what they have come up with/what scenario they use and how they use a ‘Text’. When they say that technology is taking over the world sadly, it seems murder is not immune to it either.
Ok, it is easy to get absorbed into what is happening. Firstly, great music, secondly, I don’t like the ‘Sister’ she comes across as spoiled overall, and thirdly, the building doesn’t look as run down as I thought it would considering the storyline surrounding it. That is more of a location problem than a script issue.
Well we all know that wasn’t suicide so there is no mystery there, but there is a mystery as to what actually did happen. As amusing as it was to previously hear that the mystery over the sister didn’t involve a ‘Dead body’ but now sadly, the second mystery does.
I have just realised that yes, the number of toothbrushes doesn’t necessarily mean/match the number of people in the household. I personally actually have ‘Two’ toothbrushes as well.
It is nothing new for a murder to be made to look like a suicide. This scenario has been done before in other detective programs. So I don’t agree with the sense that the case is a one off, isolated one and has never been thought of before.
Now the plot thickens. It is a surprise to see what or who comes out of the woodwork as they say. It is lovely to see the sisters are now getting along.
This mystery could also be another scenario that I have seen before where someone else writes the music and another more popular band member takes the credit for it. I am not saying that this has happened but it is not uncommon.
I like the advice the sister gives but surely it should/could have been picked up on before especially if yours and others livelihoods depended on sales and you are supposed to be an expert. Although the lighthearted approach is not a bad thing if you are happy overall in the long run after all.
My opinion of the sister has changed. It is not unusual for a situation to change a person, so now it is lovely to see a nice situation now change someone for the better.
I knew the building would be saved, the perfect outcome. Now we see scenes where I believe him, he didn’t do it because I knew it was who it was so it isn’t a shock to me. However, not the reason I thought they did it. If you watch enough mysteries you can actually easily solve this case. Now it is nice to see a ‘safely’ ending, I like it. Oh and the text aspect of this film is well done.
Thank you for reading
