Wildcard Wednesday A Killer in My Home
The script is not either as strong or as solid as I have seen, but this film is still a good light-hearted one. It is good in highlighting issues that may arise from having a second secret family. I do agree that it isn’t the child’s fault and that Allison (Bree Williamson) has a ‘Big’ heart. This is an intriguing mystery.
I hate how a mother was treating her son. It could be a ‘Red herring’ so I don’t agree with it being in the film and/or used as a distraction.
I do like the bonding between Allison and Joshua (Percy Hynes White). I do agree with ‘Trying to be understanding’ yes, I like the ‘Yellow Jeep’ but yes, it will be expensive with ‘Gas’. the script gets nasty which I don’t like. There are also a lot of arguing, bickering and disagreements in the script throughout.
The breakin is a shock. I have mixed feelings about the money/donation. Yes, the money will do good, yes, the parents want to make their daughter self sufficient and yes, the money could make life easier. I would split it up myself.
I do think I have solved the case or I may be wrong. I also love how Joshua is bonding with the horse. Oh now we have to work out who is behind the ‘College’ issue. However when they get home although it is nice to hear the music, it is sad to see and hear about the pictures, one christmas and the shirt, yes, there is more to come, a big ‘Yellow’ issue. This makes you question what is happening? It is certainly intriguing.
I do have to also question whether or not Hollie (Hannah Vandenbygaart) is ‘Spoiled’ or not, I suppose it comes down to perspective. I like Joshua and I like how he and Hollie bond. I am now confused, the party, the ring and all being nice to agree to end the party. I have gone from intrigued to confused, well I got that bit wrong and back to intrigued.
It is devastating to see the arrest and how it affects the family and now I feel we are closer to the actual truth and getting closer all the time. So it is awful to see the conversation and a not so clear talk at the hospital.
And now we see where the beginning of this film makes sense, it is all coming out, oh that was close and what a lovely ending all round.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
