Wildcard Wednesday A Deadly Deed A Fixer Upper Mystery
After a dark start it is nice to see a nice bright coastal scene. Now back to the house it looks lovely, very pretty. It is great to see, after an unsure start, someone takes control and gets organised. This, with the story, is heat-warming to watch. Until the deadline issue that is. I hate the cynical Charles Potter (Gerard Plunkett). It is like he brings a coldness to the scenes. However, he certainly doesn’t deserve that. That was unexpected.
As it is common for the guilty person being the least expected person. I find myself looking at everyone then thinking of their possible motive. There are some obvious ones. It all now seems a little too obvious now, too early.
I still do actually think it is who I think it is. The other stuff is all irrelevant to the case. Also you have to remember that an actor is told/asked to act in a certain way during a film. So I want to watch to see if I am right . I can connect the item with my suspect. I do have one question ‘Why run?’ if he is innocent. It could be what is known as the ‘Fight or flight’ instinct at play. I like this film, but I don’t want to just focus on my suspect and be blind to everything else, as I could be wrong and then feel foolish. This film does make me think.
I have just had a weird feeling that this film is like something/a mystery out of the cartoon ‘Scooby Doo’ created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears.
As I am focusing on my suspect. It is either me hearing the script and fitting it into my theory or it is leading me to the actual guilty person.
Now we have 2 crimes and 2 or even 3 suspects or 2 crimes and 1 suspect . Ok, so it is still strong as to who I think it is. And now it isn’t him. It was the least expected person.
Now what a heart-warming ending.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
