Wildcard Wednesday The Alleged Abduction
This film highlights how different people see things, or want to see things, in different ways. The trick is to work out ‘Who is telling the truth?’
I know who I believe at the moment and who I only partly believe, it is clever how they show signs of things as not being as they seem. Some things have to be true as it has to show that an almost normal reaction is played out.
Although this is becoming cliche, it doesn’t matter because they have to show that they are carrying out a proper investigation, which is good because they are.
It is busy with three separate stories of what happened. The plot thickens. All that is being said is plausible but it would be as it is well known that most guilty people ‘Have an answer for everything. The clues are there.
This is such a simple idea for a film but it is played out well, this makes this a good intriguing film.
Oh, the clues are there. I think I know who and maybe why, now we see five people’s versions of the events. This is a very interweaved/intricate storyline that is well done. I believe it could have been one of two or three people.
You have to have a good memory as to who said what when. With five people, one proposal and a definite kidnapping, as I believe her, there is a lot to work through.
Oh, that is good, coming straight out with a scenario, is this what is known as a ‘Double bluff’. It is generally known that it is the least likeliest, least expected person and it still could be but you have to keep watching to find out.
Now we see a very strong motive, but this could be what is known as a ‘Red herring’. It is nice to see both of them try to help her. I hope that was a dream and not a memory. Well that solved that. Now it is lovely to see him on her side again, with good reason to. Is it me or was that too easy? Well, now it seems that one of the ‘Red herrings’ along the way wasn’t so ‘Red’ after all.
Thank you for reading
