Mum's Monday Secrets in a Small Town

There is a good strong start and who’d have thought that from something as simple as a red pepper there could be the result of a whole new sporting outcome/challenge.

I felt that there was an underlying issue in this film. I don’t know if it is just me being paranoid or if it is something to it with an absent father or, more strongly, the fact that a group of teenage school girls are involved.

Now I am not going to say that the girls should be fussed over to the extent of them being baby sat, but, I would have thought that a teacher/coach would have a ‘Duty of care’ if someone did get hurt. Also as well to build on this I don’t agree with the lack of discipline. I know sports people have to be tough, really tough, but following the rules is a must and shouldn’t be sacrificed.

For the first time in a long while watching a mystery, I have no strong clues as to what has happened. I do see the obvious and have a suspect, but even that could be too obvious and why?, as I don’t see the point in jeopardising the chances of success. Well there are secrets.

The script at the police station, although tragic to hear, it covers a lot of the story behind this film. It is also well done in explaining an awful lot more. I feel I am beginning to solve this case already. This is a fast paced film after a slow steady start.

I feel there is a pact which is almost sinister, welcome to a small town where people know people and it is not like city policing. The team is a big deal but it is not nice/so sad to see Claire (Kate Drummond) treated like an enemy and is targeted like shae is.

I wondered why she didn’t react as strongly as I thought she would and I have never been so glad to see an inanimate than now. Now let the search begin. As good as this is I feel I can only trust 2 people. That was a sinister positive, oh, that is evil.

It is like a cult or army, the script is good at giving that impression to me. I don’t like what could be called a ‘Red herring’. I do like the resourcefulness and resilience of Sarah (Nell Verlaque). I hope she is found soon. It seems and I like that in this film that city people are smarter than for a ‘Small town’.

That is really insensitive, I do however like the thought of ‘Time off’. I don’t agree with forever, although taking the banner down yes.

Oh no, come back, I wanted to yell for her. Now what? Well that will help. It seems that this small town has a big useful toy, I love it. And it all comes crashing down to magic. Oh, I love the references, very good, this ending made me smile.

Thank you for reading
