Wildcard Wednesday Darrow and Darrow In the Key of Murder

I love how the singer Phoebe (MacKenzie Porter) in the film provides/is used as the film’s opening theme song. It does sound great so it is brutal how it is cut and criticized. This is a very quick start to this film.

Next the family meeting is a bit cringy, creepy and cheesy. It is saved by the next scene at the Darrow and Darrow office. This is amusing to watch almost always proving that you can talk about something else other than ‘Work’. I love ‘Life talk’ and mother is ‘Not going’ this is a good thing. The link between the singer and the office is now apparent.

This is such a funny part ‘A lemonade stand’ I knew it. What is not so funny next is when Phoebe is arrested. I feel this is a setup. Why would she carry out the crime when she has a firm of lawyers to help her? There is also so much more that just doesn’t add up in this case.

I thought after mentioning ‘Seminars’ that was the end of it because of the annoyance they caused, but it seems ‘Team building’ could be a good idea.

I like the idea of finding the ‘Truth’ I also think I already know who did it, although a little overly ‘She did it’ obvious, so maybe not. They just have to prove Phoebe is not guilty and who did do it.

I agree if she loves ‘Baseball’ then she should be able to play it and shouldn’t quit. As this is a fast paced film, I like the recap on the last recording session and I also remember the ‘Album’ has gone missing and cannot be found, along with the ‘Mike stand’ it seems. I think Claire (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) has worked it out but if she has I would like to know how, she certainly gives that impression.

Ok, a ‘Coffee’ invite at a baseball game, I like Joanna (Wendie Malick) and I wasn’t expecting that.

Oh dear, ‘Team building’ at first it is cringy but then gets interesting but then goes straight back to cringy.

Now back to the case, it is interesting to hear about the ‘False positive’ on the gunshot residue. It is annoying that the seminar aspect keeps coming up.

Joanna made some very good points about a girl playing baseball. This is, although nice to hear it is also a bit cliche.

It seems Claire hasn’t worked out who did it yet, this is confusing. The evidence to research is building, and now I can see why he hates the ‘Internet’.

Now what is happening? I am glad Jonah (Geoff Gustafson) is going to be ok. I had a strange suspicion but well I hope I am wrong so far. This is all, to me, strange.

Now back to baseball, I love that he put her in the game and yes it is a ‘Big deal’ I am on the edge of my seat until. And now yes, she is ‘Special’ I am glad that he meant it as a positive.

A lesson to be learnt, check your ‘Zoning violations’ this film is set in America it wouldn’t hurt to check, what over here in the UK is known as basically ‘Planning laws’

Thank goodness for ‘Transcripts’ they say it is often the simple things. ‘Order’ this is amusing it is turning into a ‘I did it, no I did it’ scenario. Well all I know is ‘Case closed’

Now for ‘No shop talk’ for an achievable length of time and baseball or is it football? Yes, so proud.

Thank you for reading

Sandra
