Fun Friday A Killer Engagement Matchmaker Mystery

Angie Dove (Danica McKellar) is great at matchmaking, really good, however, it is comforting to know, if a little stereotypical cliche that at home things are not so love dove. Her parents although happily married live 1500 miles apart and with two recent relationship breakups for Angie suggests she should look at getting her own advice and acting on it.

The engagement party, sadly, not everyone is happy for the couple and now the police are involved. I am confused about the part about the engagement ring, to me, the script is not clear but the rest is very very clear as to what Angie saw.

After some devious yet, good advice Angie is back at the crime scene. Sneaky but has to be done for the film to progress.

I was then thinking that Angie was like Miss Marple by Agatha Christie as she was also thought of as interfering in cases whilst offering her observant intuitive opinions. When, this happened, when Angie was asked basically what did she want to say, she gave the officer some hair styling advice. This is a really funny part.

Wow, remind me not to use that salon, no offence but that is bright even though, well I am so glad that on the positive side it is not all over and are only highlights. Also and yes, I agree it needs ‘Something’, like redoing back to normal reality colour. As I was writing this part it occurred to me that this film has taken a weird fantasy route, that in the real world could have ended in a lawsuit. I mean why the hair colour? If this is to progress the investigation in this film ok. ‘Undercover’ ‘Bad Idea’ may be but to me funny and a little strangely amusing.

An intruder and now it becomes clearer but there are still questions to answer and the police still need to be convinced. It is sad to now think the show is at risk, and just when it is facing its biggest challenge. Well who is it going to be? Oh how lovely, now the date? But first the case. Oh no I hope you cannot fool a professional matchmaker, I just don’t buy it either. And if he is trying to secretly follow someone this part is unbelievable, unrealistic and silly I like the ‘Play along’ game in the car and ‘No’ she didn’t leave the car that is so true.

Ok, three things one, she should have promised and honoured it, two, she should have been more careful where she stood and three, be careful that someone else doesn’t ‘Snitch’ to your Dad. One good thing to come out of it though is that Angie has found the perfect venue for the date. I had forgotten about that.

There are two stories running within the film both a challenge and with the reference to hard work, I agree that police work and matchmaking are similar jobs.

Ok, a disturbed date and some advice it seems Angie cannot help herself. It is also lovely to see father and son reunite so warmly. Now for the ‘Box’ and now something doesn’t make sense, Angie leaves a phone message to ring her back and then she leaves her phone in the car.

It all now sadly, makes sense and the case is solved and it is all good for another.

Thank you for reading
