Mum's Monday Gourmet Detective Mysteries Eat, Drink and Be Buried
First of all I love the outfits, especially the blue, but oh dear that was unexpected. Not the first time I have seen a similar scenario, like the one that comes to mind in the sitcom ‘Only Fools and Horses with David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst where they are Batman and Robin created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely DC Comics.
Why do I get the feeling this trip down memory lane as they say is not going to end well? This does put me on edge. Now the mystery begins.
I did wonder why she wanted to know so much about old guns but it turns out the information received was very helpful after all.
It is amusing that ‘Dad’ is along for the ride. At first I was suspicious but quickly changed my mind. I like the interactions in this part.
It is also amusing to see Henry (Dylan Neal) not get on with horses, a small part but fun and a bit of lightheartedness to watch. How did I know what they were going to find. Luckily it is not as bad as I thought.
Well that turned awkward. I have mixed feelings when the script interweaves private arguments between characters into work and/or in public. I can see it works but I don’t like it much. I do however, like the invite to dinner. Although it is good it is all out in the open it is not nice to see.
I love the idea of ‘Learn how’ part, I want to shout at the TV ‘You are never too old to learn’. Another trip down memory lane which is nice to see also.
I love the idea of being ‘Too nosy’ is a ‘Job’. yes, I suppose being nosy does help with being a detective. You do have to look into every possible lead in a case.
Well we all knew that wouldn’t end well. I didn’t like that it was in a town as other people could have gotten hurt. Yes ‘Remind’ him later. I agree security should be password safe.
Who it was is unexpected and all cleverly solved and all good. The ending is so nice to see and hear about.
Thank you for reading
Sandra
