The Brockman family – mum and dad and their 3 children


This is an unusual idea as this puts the children in charge they are fed ideas and improvise and lead which way the scene goes.


The first series has my favourite and my least favourite scenes in it.


My least favourite scene is when one of the kids at a farm park doesn’t want to obey his father and shouts at him “Stranger” as the father struggles with his son the more the boy shouts. This I feel is inappropriate and could’ve resulted in a lot of trouble for the family if this had been a real life scenario.


My favourite scene is when the father who is a school teacher is marking some school work where the child has mixed up the queens Elizabeth 1 and 2. The virgin queen Elizabeth the 1st now has 4 children and one of them flies a helicopter.


A fun light hearted clever idea for a program and worth a watch either repeats or on DVD

  I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. I suppose, I would say, it depends on what you paid for a painting a nice ‘Fake’ at a fake price is fine, but if you pay a genuine price tag, then you could be out of pocket/at a loss. Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

  It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

  It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find.
