Fun Friday The Stand The Plague part 1

This is brilliant, the horror is realistic and not rushed. It is subtle, but that adds to the realism. Although wouldn’t they be more concerned about it being ‘Catching’ seeing as they don’t know what exactly it is or what the family died off. All these heartwarming stories give depth to the story. I love it. This is such a tragic storyline. However, the makeup and the whole scenario is excellently done. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Terry and June

With Terry Scott and June Whitfield This I see as a, supposed to be a feel good lighthearted sitcom with a husband and wife. The husband Terry works and the wife June stays at home and that is about it. In one episode June did attempt to and went out to work. However, this was poorly done, including in one scene they both came in from work, stood in their hallway discussing dinner arrangements or lack off and promptly went back out to work again. The episodes have no point, storyline or depth to them. It all looks and sounds cheap and poorly scripted. The acting is ok if you want an exasperated wife all the time. Luckily there have since been better husband and wife based sitcoms with proper storylines to each episode. Sadly Terry and June lack substance. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday Velvet Elvis Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

I don’t like the assumption that I as the reader wouldn’t believe that there has been or someone has experienced paranormal activity in that Elvis has come to them. With the paranormal activity I have witnessed personally myself, I would believe what was said. I know it is all a tragic story but I loved how it was all well thought out and it reminded me a bit of the book by Agatha Christie And Then There Were None, where justice won out./ Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Curse Of Draclia Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

I will say that this story highlights the importance of a child’s name and the spelling of it. This story reminds me of the film Death Becomes Her with Meryl Streep. The scene where their bodies are broken but they cannot die. I don’t like how the main character was treated in this story but there is the sense of justice at the end, although I don’t condone violence or violent behaviour. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday Pussy Cat Pussy Cat, Where Have You Been? Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

Such a short but hard hitting story. Also I surprisingly worked out the twist at the end. Surprised that I had worked it out that is. I loved whether the story was true or not. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Living Room Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

Despite all the odd things that are going on, to include such an ordinary car seems strangely normal and unusual at the same time. This story has a living room I've never seen or heard of before. Also be careful when someone says that you are their ‘First husband’. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday Annus Horribilis Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

I first thought this story was about when in the Queen’s Speech 1992. Her majesty announced the year to have been ‘Annus Horribilis’. How wrong I was. It is so much worse but so well written and sadly, so believable. This, I feel, is happily a fictional story woven into real life events. The research was done really well with so much included. I love it but I still feel unnerved. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Spinster Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

I like how up to date truthful this story is. However, it is sad to read it mostly all explained as to what the world is coming to or the way that ‘Silence’ could become our future non offensive outcome. It is helpful to know some Italian while reading this clever story. Thank you for reading   Sandra
