Fun Friday No Regrets Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

The start of this story reminds me of the film Twins with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. Although they are not scientifically created one was educated and the other had a very different upbringing in comparison. Also in the film Danny’s character was set free to live a life however he messed up to begin with. I don’t like that in this story the character has a terrible existence. Although on Eastenders Keith Miller played by David Spinx, although he couldn't read, got most of his knowledge and intellect from watching TV. Well that story really peaked and went downhill fast for the victim. It was really well written and described. All I can say is sadly, ‘Karma’. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Granpire Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

However, as much as I would like the idea of never getting old or my hair not turning grey. I don’t like the idea that to get that I would have to be a vampire and I couldn’t go out in the sun. What a brilliantly well thought out story. I can sadly see something like this happening in real life and yes, where a ruler has nothing to rule over. This story makes you think. Fun Friday Abracadaver Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

The first part, although on a ‘Train’ reminded me of the book and film ‘The Shining’ by Stephen King with Jack Nicholson. I had to read the ending twice to make sure of what I was reading.  The story is fast paced and I did lose track of who was who and had to check back, but that might have been just me. I loved this fascinating story however, although a clever title I would have given the story a different one. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The After Effects Of Love Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

It is interesting to read about the development of vaccines. However, it does go on, although, I suppose, it is good to know that so many preventative jabs are out there for various diseases. The part in Starbucks reminds me of the character Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) from The Big Bang Theory, when he refers to his ‘Spot’ on the couch. This story could put people off doing drug trials. I do feel that the sense of greed played a very big part in this story though. Yes, the jabs so no worries there then. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday The Underwear Wolf Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

I remember the day of the eclipse in August 1999, although I wasn’t well that day and other life events happened. I still have good memories of that year. This highlights to be careful who you choose as 1. A therapist and 2. Who you choose as a client as well. The point about the underwear could have had more of a point to it in this story but I love the twist in the story at the end. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday The Umpire Strikes Back Of Mice And Wolfmen by Joe Pasquale

Although I am not a fan of Cricket I am a fan of Joe and horror. I also love how horror is woven into real life events. I don’t like all the swearing in this story. I love the ending to this brilliant story and yes, it does bring a whole new meaning to ‘Pulling yourself together, and thank goodness the heart was missed. I did guess somewhat why. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Go West Old Man The Detectives

‘Goodbye’ if only it was that easy. I have mixed feelings as to how they broke the news to her. Now there’s a thought ‘Horses milk’. I wonder why he went missing. It is so insensitive of them. I love Canada too. The scenery is beautiful. I love the script. What is he up to? I knew it. This is so cleverly funny. It is good to see that they are not as incompetent as they first appear to be, or are they? The script is brilliant. Yes, it did ‘Fool’ them. So many ‘Fools’. Clever plan. Oh dear. I love the outfits. So heartwarming to hear what they say to him. ‘Noon’ oh. He needs to study up on his knowledge of wildlife. Yes, now what? Saying ‘Sorry’ I agree. What a find. I love it. I love Canada and when we visited and did a train trip including 1 night in Calgary where we flew from the UK for our first night. We made the most of it by booking a meal at the Calgary tower. We had to be aware of flight delays though and there was a minimum spend on the meal including the ride to the top ...

Wildcard Wednesday Mines A Large One The Detectives

They look to be on a powerful mission. ‘What’? Beware of chairs with wheels. I know how it sounds and it is amusing to hear. That is the English language, 2 exact spelt words can mean 2 different things. I love the script. Oh, the irony of ‘Forward planning’. So funny to see. I love the ‘Swap’ idea. It is brilliant. I really don’t know where they get their knowledge of ‘Nautical’ information from? Also it is not ‘Made up’. Less work, is that even possible? I love the script. I love the music very fitting. I am so glad they didn’t fall the other way. It is sad that he is bored. I feel even they would get bored, maybe not. Oh, look out! At least it is something to actually do. Be quiet then. I can see his point. No to ‘Strange’ then. The job swap is strange enough, I hope. That is a good question ‘Does Big Ben tick?’ What an ending. Thank you for reading Sandra
