Fun Friday Twitchers The Detectives

Birds. Boring then, or not for him. So many jokes. ‘Still there’ and it would have been nice to see more of the ‘Cow’ He is enjoying that too much. No, that isn’t nice. Pride before a fall, as they say. Very clever though. So sad. ‘Hello’. So annoying, let him sleep. His turn. I knew it. Poor him. I love the wording in the script. A good idea, but I don’t condone it. I knew it. Those ‘Eggs’.!! Ah. ‘Dad’ so heartwarming. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Keeping Up Appearances 4 Christmas Specials

The first Christmas episode December 1991 was a brilliant one, capturing the christmas spirit a little too well, resulting in amusing scenes where an appropriate christmas disguise had to be used. Resulting in it looking like a male character had feminine legs. The second Christmas special was in December 1993 and was a good one, however, when I saw this episode recently on a Sky channel in no particular order like when I watched it on DVD. I thought this was the last episode because of the extensive character development of the main character, in that she danced with her brother in law in the capacity of if you can’t beat them join them. The third Christmas episode was in December 1994 and was a good one however, although I can see why she upgraded what was wrong with him and also wanted a new kitchen. This doesn’t come across as a Christmas episode except for the name of the ‘Blue’. The forth Christmas episode was in December 1995 and was again a good one however, again it does...

Fun Friday Between A Rock & A Hard Place The Detectives

I do believe ‘Packed’. A lot of spilt milk. ‘A plane’ by the way. It is a good point to know on what side of the road you should drive on. Same surname. Amusing though. He is horrible, but great at acting though. Why is he wearing a shirt, tie and suit on holiday? Oh hang on I forgot he isn’t on holiday. ‘A simple salute’ so funny but I am happy for Bob (Jasper Carrott) that he made it off safely. A lot of ‘Vs’ days. Love the ‘Short’ reference and yes, and I feel sorry for him. ‘Help’ him. I wondered when we would see one of the things that Gilbratra is famous for. Love seeing them milking the fact that they are on holiday. Yes, literal, don’t hit it. Oh dear, oh dear and oh dear, and again oh dear. Wow, red. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday On Thin Ice The Detectives

Oh no and oh no. It is sad to see that it isn’t enough. Of course he has. Now they have. ‘Ice crawling’ is such a funny and good idea. ‘Vick’ ouch ‘Vick’. Listen to her. This is annoying to see. Why is she doing their work? A great choice of actor Richard O’Brien playing Dr. Phibes. ‘40 love’ I love the connected reference. It is funny 2 callers doing ‘Door to door’ about ‘Bogus’ callers and he has got a point. Be warned if you are squeamish, but it is silly, but amusing to see. What a performance? Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Art Attack The Detectives

Oh dear, ‘Incentives’. He, it seems, although like the rest of them, doesn't seem to be mature enough or bothered about anything else, like actual police work. Although I like the idea of swapping departments. It is a bit cheesy that the ‘Fine art department’ is decorated as it is. However, it is somewhat amusing to see the literal look of it. It is good to see Bob (Jasper Carrott) at least try. Also I am glad the name was cleared up. What now?  It turns out there are all sorts of ‘Art’ forms. Good to know, if a little late. Art is art even after they have been on the investigation. I can see why he is so sad. And yes, someone did take the, oh dear. Yes, funny. They are up to something. And so are they. Bad but yet an amusing use of words. Quite a list. Very good, undercover art. I love what was said at the end. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Flash The Detectives

I have to laugh at the thought of just before, in filming, the scenes when they shout ‘Action’. I love when they give the business number. I love the description. Oh, I see a mix up coming. I knew it. The script is brilliant in keeping up the storyline. Of course, hilarious. I see that things are about to be sorted out. Thank goodness. I don’t condone people getting away with crimes just because of who they are or who they know but in this case, oh, why not. You need a strong stomach whilst watching this episode. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday D.C. Of Love The Detectives

‘25 years’ I love the outfits. So different, so hilariously funny. Oh, so the letters got mixed up. That explains it. Great choice of words. ‘Sir’ what are they wearing? Well we know but they are all at it. I love it. Celebrate. Great acting. No, not ‘Farewell’. A good life lesson ‘Take turns’ A great script but only ‘Fingerprints’ are needed. What a busy night they are having. I knew it. I can’t believe I got it. And I do believe that was meant to be a twist. ‘Bob’?  Phew. All i'm going to say is thank goodness ‘Lobster’ Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Rear Window The Detectives

‘Dogs’ ok. ‘Run’? Well they have to be ’Trained’. However, an experiment doesn’t sound good. Poor Bob (Jasper Carrott). This reminds me of Due South with Paul Gross where he was injured and observed things from his hospital window. Bad choice of words. Poor fish. Oh no. I like ‘Sand’. Well it seems it isn’t all bad being a creature of habit, as they say. I believe him despite what it looks like or what is written. That is a ‘Grave’ statement. It is all in the tone. I know a reasonably good plan, he had to ask. I see that. It is funny. Yes, now would be a good time. Blimey, he is unexpectedly good, well almost. Oh dear. Oh no Dave (Robert Powell). Both, injured yes, both, baby sitting. Why? I don’t get it. Thank you for reading  Sandra
