Wildcard Wednesday Hostage The Detectives

Anyone would think they are going to a football match. Oh dear, no, so nicely played. I don’t like seeing that. I know, you could say, underdogs, but there is no need to rub it in. I don't like it. I know, I thought about them the second he said what he did. It isn’t nice but I can see why. The script is brilliant. I love it. I love how it looks like they are competent. I love this. I knew it, so funny. The rapport is brilliant. This is hilarious. So heartwarming. Oh, all that in a goal. They had it. They had it. Yes, I agree.’The tension’. And again, so mad, but funny. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday What The Butler Saw The Detectives

Who needs Sat nav? This is already really funny and reminds me of the scenes from Keeping Up Appearances with Patricia Routledge, when they were on their way to the cruise ship but without actually showing the scenes in this program. It is good, if you have the rooms it is a good idea. I love the characters that seemingly appear out of nowhere. This is funny in itself without what she is, I want to say, cheesily holding, funny though and adds to the amusement of it. Oh, I’m so glad he was a ‘Lovely man’. So many doors. Made me smile. I want to say ‘No’ what an obvious outfit and questions. Someone ought to tell them how, however, it wouldn't be so funny. That is disgusting. You need a strong stomach to watch that part. Agatha Christie, police work A good idea for the movie. I knew it and I hate when they don’t listen to people. He had to ask, this is hilarious to watch/hear. That poor ‘Band’ I like them. Don’t ask them that. Oh no, that isn’t nice to see. He didn’t do it. ‘Stay’....

Wildcard Wednesday Last Tango In Lavenham Lovejoy

Ah, the ‘Past’. So much could be changing in the future. Now there is a question. Oh, poor him. I didn’t like him being out alone. I hate that again the future of Felsham hall is in question/up in the air as they say. Call me cynical, but Tinker (Dudley Sutton) doesn’t get it at first and with all the things he listed and the ‘Worry’. Is that really a basis for a marriage?  She ‘Got it’. Oh the voice. Those grins. So nice to see. ‘Before’ so much reminiscing. What an amusing, complete opposite’ description of Lady Jane (Phylis Logan) before they met. That is a good answer. ‘ Those two together, it is so amusing to see. No don’t break them up, and yes, he can, oh the memories. Touchy. It all fits. This is good to see. Plant the seed/’Gold coin’. I know who’d have thought someone with a good job. ‘Wrong?’ It’s the past. That is nice for her. They were never meant to be. That’s honest. It is nice to see modern memories and more to come. Telling the remedy to shut up. So funny. ...

Fun Friday Holding the Baby Lovejoy

Oh, yes, ‘Planning’. All heart. Not nice to hear. I actually like that piece of furniture and the colour is pretty as well. It seems it is causing quite a stir. Although it was a little underhand of Lovejoy (Ian McShane) if who was on the phone wasn’t distracted. We wouldn’t have all this to watch. ‘Restorers’? Oh poor Beth (Diane Parish)  I believe I know how he could raise that. This does highlight juggling a career with a baby. It is sad that Lovejoy is having a bad day. It is brilliant, go on save the day, no, nothing to ‘Lose’. I love it, and it is so amusing when it works. Typical in a quiet place. So amusing, however he won’t forget it now. Can all help? Oh no but it is ‘Fine’. It is so annoying to see her struggling with, not your usual family car. This episode reminds me of the film Baby Boom with (Diane Keaton). Love the dress code. Oh, babies can have that effect on people. Wrong key, so clever and an amusing try. It is so funny to see them offering Tinker (Dudley...

Wildcard Wednesday The Bath Conspiracy by Jeanne M. Dams

This is a fast paced book, already in chapter one. A lot happens in the first chapter. I feel for her at StoneHenge. I too like to shop and can relate to the disappointment of having to wait. This is so real for me. Now this is extremely interesting as to what happens if it was cloudy on an important StoneHenge date. I love it.  But, now I don’t want to put this book down. This is still fast paced. Although this involves theft. This has a Miss Marple (Agatha Christie) and the like vibe about it. I love the realistic misunderstanding on page 30. I am so glad that just doesn’t happen to me. And yes, the houses are all the same. The Royal Crescent is also a worthwhile sight to see as well’ A brilliantly interesting book. I love this book, how it transports you back to Bath and if you haven’t been, how it can be used as a tour guide or a brilliantly perfect holiday read whilst visiting Bath. as I said, I love it. I didn’t want to put this book down. What a perfectly beautiful en...

Fun Friday Fruits Of The Desert Lovejoy

Warning spoilers A ‘Birthday present’ that made me smile. Yes, some good points about ‘Food’ . I love it. Very informative. No, Tinker (Dudley Sutton) I wouldn’t eat that. Thank goodness. Warning: I need a slightly strong stomach for this part. Yes, I bet he is ‘Glad he stayed’. So am I, although he had to really to progress/make the episode. He knows. Yes, Take it, is it greed? I am not sure. Yes, ‘Mad’. A huge statement. Such a risk. Yes, now you definitely need a strong stomach, and yes, funny as to what he said it tasted like. That is a good idea. Happily there are connections. Such a grand place. I love it. Lovejoy (Ian McShane) is in trouble and out of pocket. Poor Lovejoy. A bit harsh of her. Oh, that is funny. I knew her ‘No’ was just a word. This is brilliant to see. Very clever. What a revelation. Nope. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Breaking The Broker Lovejoy

Although it is eventually explained, the scenes at the beginning of this episode could have been longer.  Enter the next scene, Lovejoy (Ian McShane) I love the kitchen utensil. Oh, well Antiques. It seems, comes in all sorts of categories, also what is her problem? I don’t like her. It seems, art has a hidden stash. I feel for Tinker (Dudley Sutton) ‘He wants it back’. I agree he should have it back, oh no Tinker. I love the wording ‘Curve’ meaning ‘Bent’ . This is brilliant to hear in the script. I know it's unbelievable. What is amusing to know is that it is actually true. All helping, all happening. Well done. A small scene but an amusing way for Lovejoy to taunt the police. I like the mocking. Oh no poor Tinker. Sadly, it is a small world. Oh no poor Tinker. Yes, ‘Taxi’ and I am glad, go and get him, he is a nasty piece of work. ‘Same’. This is interesting to hear. I feel this episode ended too soon. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Fun Friday The Last of the Uzkoks Lovejoy

I love the beginning. It reminds me of the start of Star Trek (created by Gene Roddenberry). That wasn’t helpful. What has he been up to now? And who is he? Oh, so he does know him well then. There are too many claims for me to keep up with it all. I love ‘Tinky’ not the only alias, it seems. ‘Annoyed’ ‘Not annoyed’ I get it. Doesn’t she stop talking? Yes, it seems she can and I want to say ‘The nose’. That is what I believe, how. How many sets are there? Too many to keep up with. I don’t agree with littering in the sea. I don’t like that they put that in the script. It is good to see Lovejoy (Ian McShane) working, but for how many can he actually work for in one go? What a story. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not it is interesting to hear about it. I love it. The claims keep coming. ‘Six’ to be precise. Job, jobs done. An important word ‘Discard’  Oh that isn’t nice. Yes, sadly, ;Pay’ as well. Thanks you for reading Sandra

Wild card Wednesday Guns and Roses Lovejoy

That’s a ‘No’ then. Oh that ‘Texas’ (Christopher Malcolm)  It just gets worse. Oh, the old ‘In 2 places at once’ plan. That was a risk, buying for others. I like the ‘Card’. I can see why Charlotte (Caroline Langrishe) is not so keen on it. Yes, the ‘Wrong man’. A bit overly dramatic at dinner. I hate that the gun has been damaged. It doesn't look good. Should she be behind some glass for safety? I suppose a police station is safe enough. No, I don’t believe you should have bought your ‘Dress’. It is, I agree, fun with 2 of Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) lady friends chatting. Oh yes, him. Oh no, yes, ‘Not again’ he has quite an entourage, it is amusing to see them all. With the outfits and all I am, or I missed something, a little confused. I love the ‘Deal’ or deals. Thank you for reading  Sandra
