Fun Friday Goose Bumps Lovejoy

It is so amusing, losing his disguise. Lovejoy (Ian McShane) at the dentist, missing persons is not his job. Oh ‘’The Bill’. The job is on. I like that he is going to help.  Intriguing. Lovejoy does help. I don’t like what they say, or imply anything different. ‘Dog show’ is nice but if he is in charge, not so nice. I like the summing up recap but we still don’t know what is or has happened. I don’t like Charlie (Malcolm Tierney) and there is ‘Work to do’. It might just be me but this seems awkward. Well not so much now. Too many questions Tinker (Dudley Sutton). ‘What chops?’ yes amusing romance. I know her from somewhere, I believe. If I remember right I did. He owns them, then. Yes, ‘Weird’. ‘Testing’ they both know their stuff. A true eccentric ‘Geese’. So glad that mobile phones now work under bridges a bit better than they did. ‘Fun’ yes ‘Fun’ I like it. Why is he there? It is a bit of a cheek. I like the description. Beth (Diane Parish) has been busy. It is amusing to...

Wildcard Wednesday The Peking Gun Lovejoy

Oh that is so funny. I knew it, Lovejoy (Ian McShane) hosting. I do like her way of thinking. ‘Flowerpot’ is a good question. I trust Lovejoy and he wouldn’t swindle her. I am intrigued by this club. So amusing to think about. Yes, I agree, Lovejoy does have a ‘Heart’. ‘The wrong way’. Next ‘Plan B’ then. I don’t like this part. You know what they say ‘One woman's trash is another man’s treasure’ and don’t hold back on the European compliment, not. This is not nice to hear. So what now? And it is good to see that the place has the stereotypical of what she said it would have, what a relief to see. I am not sure if that is an airport or not, it does look like one, but it is a clever place to spend the night. Lovejoy does say ‘Train’ so it could have been a railway station. Whatever it is, it is still a good idea. I like it. Clever, quick thinking Beth (Diane Parish). I would say "You have been warned Charlie (Malcolm Tierney) well done Beth and a ‘Deal’ the ‘Trouble’ oh dear....

Fun Friday Poetic Licence Lovejoy

Lovejoy (Ian McShane) knows his stuff and it is still ‘Morning’. This is intriguing. Yes, Tinker (Dudley Sutton) is quite the cook. It is nice to see them interact together as work colleagues. Oh no. Yes, why? Again intriguing. A good appropriate nickname ‘Kipper’. I love it. The suspense is growing. I don’t like it. What? Why? I am so glad he isn’t. It is all turning out ok. Oh, that is so funny, but she likes it. A lovely poem. Good old Beth (Diane Parish) I can see why after a ‘Half hour lecture’ on a clear out. Financially solved. I’d say then. Thank you for reading  Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Stones of Destiny Lovejoy

‘A challenge’. It is so amusing. I knew it, as soon as he said ‘Honest’ I knew it. Yes, ‘Blackmail’. ‘Monday’ then? It is lovely to see them going on, um, holiday. If only he knew. Even Lovejoy (Ian McShane) doesn’t know exactly where he is. They say men don’t ask directions, from this episode, although it aid off in the short term, I can see why. That is ‘Criminal’. It is awful. This reminds me of the TV program ‘Escape to the country with Jules Hudson, when people move from a noisy town/city to the scenic quiet of the country. Well done Tinker (Dudley Sutton) showing initiative. I have to ask why he would be lying? Well that doesn’t help. He is honest and also she is too trusting. I am glad the two of them are working together and that now she knows the truth. RUN! Yes, ‘Busy’ and all nice. Well played, a good ‘Trick’ as well. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Ducking and Diving Lovejoy

That is a very large piece of furniture. That is so, ‘Shattered’, annoying. I might or should have known that Eric (Chris Jury) would have something to do with this. I hate him. The ‘Secret admirer’. He is a try hard. Now that is a lovely, really good offer. Well that isn’t very nice. I hate him, well done Eric. Tinker (Dudley Sutton) don’t ask. No, it is not Eric’s week but remember the offer. A plan is being formed. Yes, be aware the tide does come up like that. The filming of the scenes would be risky but worth the amusement and I thought he was the stupid one but it is ‘His’ ‘Nick’ and he is ‘Responsible’. The truth at last. Love the sign. Um, well yes, well done Eric. An end of a (Panto) era. I hope he makes a go of it despite, well. If you would like to visit one of the locations used in this episode, it is Pin Mill near Ipswich Suffolk There is a good car park and you can walk down to see the sheds and garages, although it looks like the one that had the ‘Lorry’ in it has ...

Wildcard Wednesday Three Men and a Brittle Lady Lovejoy

Drive carefully Eric (Chris Jury)  Nice divert. Nice thought of use for the ‘Trunk’. I like the ‘Sparkle’ story. I get what they mean as well. I wouldn’t, Lovejoy (Ian McShane) ‘Mates’ I actually like that for the sake of this episode. Oh no. I don’t like his attitude. She is too calm with him. The script should have had her react more to him either shout or something. Yes, why? Now, I have to admit I like seeing them get on. The ‘Roller’ was a bit of a stretch though. Eric likes being him and go Tinker (Dudley Sutton). It is so funny to see them so flustered. So Eric is now ‘Reg’ oh what an act. Not true but an act all the same. Yes, ‘Very quiet’. Oh, that old trick. Work! That ‘Bike’ idea in the script is a bit too convenient. The writers could have, I believe, thought of something else. Oh, that is good to know, but yes, you have to prove it. That coat. He reminds me of The Joker in Batman by Bob Kane and Bill Finger DC Comics.  I sadly can’t take him seriously. A ma...

Fun Friday The Kakiemon Tiger Lovejoy

Oh, please tell, oh so he owns them. Now that is funny. I wonder what would happen in real life. Would he be let out? Poor Eric (Chris Jury) how did Beth (Diane Parish) do that all by herself. I don’t think that it is realistically possible. Ok, enjoy the ride Lovejoy (Ian McShane) this is an intriguing trip. Like no Bank. I wouldn't want to see an advert for his bank. Lovejoy has been away so now a ‘Bruised’ funny bone, a new recruit and although I don’t condone this the ‘Government pays’ What else is funny is Charlie (Malcolm Tierney) embracing country life or at least finding it the hard way. I hate him. Now at least it makes sense. Although it is sad to hear justice has been served.  I still hate him. Great drawings. Eric, you fraud. I like lessons in Antique language/lingo. Yes, I love Tinker (Dudley Sutton) too. Eric, done something very clever? Of course he didn’t. Lovejoy is on a mission. I don’t condone sabotage but he does need the money. Surely the money would run...

Wildcard Wednesday A Going Concern Lovejoy

Mother in law hey. He reminds me and is dressed like ‘Boss Hogg’ (Sorrell Booke) from the TV program The Dukes of Hazzard.  Oh him. The son, sorry ‘Daughter’ ‘I do’ looks like she is clever and doesn’t like what is going on. Yes, ‘Practice makes perfect’ but an auctioneer. I have mixed feelings but it progresses the episode. She certainly speaks her mind. Oh, that is so funny, let's just say she is not wearing them where she should be. Nicely played by her. Like I said, clever. Oh, it isn’t her. Now this is intriguing. Oh, that is funny ‘Who you are and who she is’. This is hilarious to hear. But what is going on? I am afraid to say, I am confused, oh, that is happening. So why is Lovejoy (Ian McShane) doing police work? 1. I would say he wants to clear his name and 2. He knows more than the police do. Although hold on ‘Cavendish’ has been busy as well. It seems. Yes, ‘Thank you Lovejoy’. All I will say is that out of all the people who were interested in the house. He is th...

Fun Friday Who is the Fairest of Them All? Lovejoy

It is so amusing, it seems you could possibly ‘Get arrested’ for a lot of things. A mirror, just a mirror. Ok, that doesn't sound or look good. Ok, since doing Lovejoy Ian McShane went on to play Black Beard in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides with Johnny Depp. This episode containing the mirror and what is supposed to be seen in it could well foretell what is to come. This is amusingly coincidental to watch. Back to the episode, Tinker (Dudley Sutton) and Eric (Chris Jury) are all we can startlingly, it seems, expect to see in the mirror for now. They also should have called this episode ‘Monica’ (Marianne Buckland) . For reasons of has/is to have a lot of influence. ‘Passenger’ is intriguing. Oh that is the deal, clever. ‘Milk’ so amusing. So funny and he was there, wasn’t he? So amusing. I am glad Jane (Phyllis Logan) has Lovejoy as a friend, Yes, influence. I want to say ‘ That was easy’ but i’m not sure on who exactly; What now? I feel for Tinker. Also sadly, I wou...
