Fun Friday Kids Lovejoy

I thought the same. So, where is she? If Lovejoy (Ian McShane) says ‘He will get one’ I suppose he will. I suppose, I would say, it depends on what you paid for a painting a nice ‘Fake’ at a fake price is fine, but if you pay a genuine price tag, then you could be out of pocket/at a loss. A mother is a mother so that covers all. A chain is forming. I am glad he was ‘Word perfect’ With a compliment to Lovejoy, not that ‘Old’ then. All these rhetorical questions. These are amusing to hear. ‘George?’ so funny. A coincidence, the same outfit, oh dear. Sweet.  Oh, for the best, Ibelieve. ‘Closed’. That is good. Oh that, well at least the deal was done. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Smoke Your Nose Lovejoy

Love the dancing. He fell, this is so amusing to see. Lovejoy (Ian McShane) breaking the fourth wall is brilliant and sadly, quite correct. What is even more amusing is that he thinks Lovejoy is also ‘Hungry’. I like the thought of an Antique golden wedding anniversary present. It's the clock I am not sure off as the present. ‘Find the book’ but poor Tinker (Dudley Sutton)  That is convenient. I don’t like it. I hope for the ‘Roman villa’. He ‘Posted’ it. An easy mistake to make. Ok, what is it with the large candle stick looking thing? This is getting a bit heavy handed. It is all very ‘Corrupt’. Brilliant. Oh, dear, what is it? The roof, yes. So annoying ‘What is it?’ no don’t end it there. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Love Knots Lovejoy

It is nice to hear about the history of a collectible antique as we very rarely get to know where or why things are as they are. I really feel for Jane (Phyllis Logan) and it is sad that Alex (Pavel Douglas) is saying all the wrong things. Also I agree he should be around more for her to ask. That was good timing. I do feel for Jane it is horrible to watch. Just as Tinker (Dudley Sutton) was talking about travelling in his dreams . i thought of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where Grandpa Potts (Lionel Jeffries) did most of his travelling through daydreaming and all of sudden Tinker spots a character in the auction room called Potts (Tony Caunter). This is a completely surprising coincidence. Now we hear Tinker talk about the interesting messages left and things are getting heated in the auction room. I don’t like that he stopped bidding either, it is disappointing to watch. That is a big dog. So funny poor Lovejoy (Ian McShane) sit down. That is one spoilt dog and that is an u...

Wildcard Wednesday Scotch On The Rocks Lovejoy

I don’t think their quiet day will last long. Not with this being Lovejoy (Ian McShane). What is she up to? It seems a strange reaction to what she found. I am confused. A bit cliche but a great divert. Nice try. This is stereotypically amusing. I get the feeling that all is not lost. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Eric Of Arabia Lovejoy

It is an eye opener and quite true, can something be classed as original when parts have been replaced due to wear and tear?. This part reminded me of the TV program Only Fools And Horses with David Jason. Where the character Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) was going to get an award for having the same broom whilst working. This would have been fine if he hadn’t revealed that the broom had had so many new heads and so many new handles. Lovejoy’s (Ian McShane) take on this is not quite so amusing but works for the episode. This bike business is now getting amusingly action packed and cringingly dubbed. What a find. Very useful.  Not the music again. Fascinating stuff. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Benin Bronze Lovejoy

Lovejoy (Ian McShane) knows his stuff, we know he does, but it is interesting to her him tell it. Something isn’t right. The police don’t do that. Of course she knows her, still a clever link though. Yes, it stinks, but that is not all, poor Tinker (Dudley Sutton). Why do people always want what they can’t have? There are 2 stories running side by side in this episode, I don’t really like it. Although amusing to watch, it is not nice of them to make fun of him. Well, that was a cheap trick. Oh, there is a link, yes, ok a small one but I actually like it, very clever. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Angel Trousers Lovejoy

In other words, ‘Wake up’. That is brilliant, bring on the ‘Big guns’ as they say. I like ‘Portsmouth’. It is a ‘Beautiful day’ apparently. This is a bit repetitive, but it works for the nature of this episode.  Easy does it. This is so amusing to see/ well he/they are on board. Imagine the actors having to play at being drunk all episode. This is amusing. Yep, the old cliche. He is trapped on board and not ‘Supposed’ to be there. Don’t shout. This does make me smile. Oh Eric (Chris Jury) it is just ’Glue’. All eyes on Lovejoy (Ian McShane) . What a lovely speech, wow. Perfect. Yes, I agree, ‘Touching’. I like the story telling over the flashbacks. Love the recap and yes, if you can’t beat them join them. Now it is nice to see Lovejoy being his usual Lovejoy. Well, submarines are not for everyone. I don’t like her ‘Junk shop’ is so annoying and doesn’t endear. I love Lovejoy’s reaction. I don’t like him either. They are right he is not ‘Worthy’. Oh no that is awful. Who? Wel...

Wildcard Wednesday No Strings Lovejoy

So much for the ‘Early start’. A little star struck, I believe. Love the outfit. Oh don’t take it off. Ok, they win, better. It is strange to hear Eric (Chris Jury) being unhappy in his job, because of the fact that Lovejoy (Ian McShane) is on TV as a program with the entertainment factor attached. However, each to their own and Eric does like his music. Great music, I love it. It is lovely to see Tinker (Dudley Sutton) having such a great time. Poor Lovejoy. No, he doesn’t want to know. I don’t blame him. What a twist in the tale. Thank you for reading Sandra

Fun Friday Out To Lunch Lovejoy

A meeting. This is cringy but amusing to see. Oh sneaky. It is getting serious in more ways than one. I knew it. It was too good to be true, poor Eric (Chris Jury). I have a theory as to who he is? Yes, poor Eric. Well that was sadly unexpected. This is getting intriguing. I love it. Well played Lovejoy (Ian McShane). Another meeting, this time not so cringy and Lovejoy was right. Oh what a lovely thing to do. I love it. Thank you for reading Sandra

Wildcard Wednesday Friends In High Places Lovejoy

Well sadly, that didn’t last long. Back to being Lovejoy (Ian McShane) then. This part reminds me of the film The Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd when they wanted to get the band back together. Tinker (Dudley Sutton) is a bit over dramatic but amusing to see though. Very good Eric (Chris Jury). What people put in a safe is unusually testing. Oh dear, malfunction. This is getting weird now, a school boy? By the way, yes, I also like the ‘Suit’. Oh no poor Jane (Phyllis Logan). This is an awful dilemma. Oh you idiot Eric. and it is going to cost you. Ok, so well at least he paid up. It was well worked out by Lovejoy. Also I don’t think they were actually invited. Thank you reading  Sandra
